The following courses are required for successful completion of the award base program.
First Year Fall:
Take the following courses.
Take one communication/humanities/fine arts course from the following list. A total of two of these courses from two different disciplines (prefixes) is required to earn this degree.
Take one of the following math courses. A total of two of these courses must be taken to earn this degree.
Select one of the following natural sciences sets. Four SHC will be taken this semester, and the other four SHC will be taken First Year Spring to complete the set. Your courses must be from only one set; you cannot take two courses from two different sets.

Beginning Fall 2018, CHM 151 has a corequisite of MAT 171; if you select CHM 151/CHM 152 for your natural sciences courses, you should select MAT 171 as one of your Math courses or have credit for MAT 171.

Take 2 semester hour credits (SHC) from the following Additional General Education courses or from any general education courses listed above that are not taken to satisfy the general education requirements.

MAJOR ELECTIVES/Other Required Hours Course List:
Take 14 semester hour credits (SHC) from the following courses or from any of the general education courses listed above not taken to satisfy the general education requirement or the additional general education hours requirement. WBL-111 does not count toward graduation or in the 60 hour minimum for this degree since it is not a transfer course. Students selecting WBL-111 will be required to complete 15 SHC for Other Required Hours for a minimum of 61 SHC to earn the Associate in Science degree.
