The following courses are required for successful completion of the award base program.


First Year Fall:

Take the following courses.


Take one of the following Humanities/Fine Arts/Communication courses. Two Humanities/Fine Arts/Communications courses from two different subjects (prefixes) must be taken to complete the program.

First Year Spring:

Take the following courses.


Take one of the following math courses. Two math courses from the following list must be taken to complete the program.

First Year Summer:

Take one of the following Social/Behavioral Science courses. Two Social/Behavioral Science course from two different subjects (prefixes) must be taken to complete the program.

Credits: 3


Second Year Fall:

Select one of the following Natural Science sets and take one of the courses. The other course will be taken during Second Year Spring. If you select Set Five or Set Six, during Second Year Fall or Second Year Spring you will take the set of courses for your set (AST-151 and AST-151A or PHY-110 and PHY-110A).

Take one of the following math courses. Two math courses from the following list must be taken to complete the program..

Second Year Spring:

Take the second Natural Science course (or set of courses from Set Five or Set Six if you selected either of those sets) from the set selected for Second Year Fall.


Take one of the following Social/Behavioral Science courses. Two Social/Behavioral Science course from two different subjects (prefixes) must be taken to complete the program.
